Reason for location of hot desert in the western side of the continent in northern hemisphere

Major hot desert are lies in western side of the contents in northern hemisphere includes:-
Mojave desert - north america 
Sahara desert - Africa 
Arabian desert- Asia 


Reason :- 

1) cold current - due to the presence of cold current moisture Content in air losses ,result desertification air become cool and dry .
Example mojave desert - California cold current 
Sahara desert - canary cold current 

2) trade winds- trade winds move east to west so when it reaches to west it loses its moisture and become dry result desertification 

3) lack of convenctional rainfall because of cold current get cool the warmer air.


4) lack of cloud formation in this region.
