Difference b/w fundamental rights and dpsp
Fundamental rights
➡️ Fundamental rights are justiciable and can be enforced by the courts.
➡️ Fundamental rights have legal sanctions.
➡️It can be suspended except the rights mentioned in article 20 and 22 during emergency.
➡️ Fundamental rights are assumed negatively sometimes, because of their restrictive attitudes towards the states.
➡️They promote the welfare of the individual. Hence they are personal and individualistic.
Directive principles of state policy
➡️ DPSP are non justiciable.
➡️DPSP have moral and political sanctions.
➡️DPSPs can never be suspended under any condition.
➡️DPSPs are always positive because they direct the states for definite activity.
➡️DPSP promote the welfare of community hence, they are societarian and socialistic.
